Liposomal iron
for children, adolescents and adults
The patented LIPOSHELL® liposomal technology
Additional absorption route - high efficiency
FE-LIP® contains:
This allows iron to be absorbed by two independent transport routes:
The use of both ways of iron absorption in FE-LIP® allows to significantly improve its absorption and increases the effectiveness of the preparation.
Lower risk of side effects *,**
The liposomal form of iron ensures a lower risk of side effects of the digestive system, typical for iron used in a traditional form, including such as: metallic taste, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation.*,**
Due to iron encapsulation, FE-LIP® does not cause excessive bacteria growth responsible for the occurrence of side effects.
Growth curves of bacteria responsible for gastrointestinal side effects in the presence of free iron versus iron encapsulated in liposomes were assessed. The test results indicate that iron closed in liposomes does not affect the growth of bacteria, unlike free iron.

FE-LIP® - liposomal iron is a preparation with a high level of iron encapsulation in liposomes. **
The level of iron encapsulation in FE-LIP® liposomes is over 50%. ***
FE-LIP® is designed and manufactured in the unique LIPOSHELL® **** technology.
The patented LIPOSHELL® liposomal technology is a modern and efficient method to transport active substances into the human body.
LIPOSHELL® liposomes are similar to human cell membranes, which makes them biocompatible and safe.
* manufactured in accordance with the GMP high quality standards (Good Manufacturing Practice).

*** results of separation analysis on 50kDa filters. The method consists of placing the liposomes with a given substance in a container that allows small particles (iron) to pass through and retain the large molecules (liposomes). After centrifugation, the % of encapsulated iron in the liposome and the % of iron non-closed in liposomes (remaining in solution) can be determined. The test was performed on the batch no T4B21FE.
